Job Description


-   Repair equipment when defects are reported, and bring the machines back to the right equipment standards.

-   Execute the preventive maintenance as described in the PM plan in the CMMS system

-   Keep maintenance data  updated at all time by using the reporting features of the CMMS system 

-   Partners with Production management to set the priorities on maintenance

-   Placing machines, and setup-level to the correct working.

-   Do the initial calibration of machines at setup and frequently recalibrate depending the calibration schedule.

-   Partner with Engineering and production management to update procedures, policies, machine standards when necessary.

-   Make suggestions to improve efficiencies in cost, quality and delivery. 

-   Read and interpret wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications in making installations or performing major repair work.

-    Troubleshoot all machines and process controller hardware, maintain a functional knowledge of the operation of the system software and hardware.

-   Provide training of operators on fine tuning the equipment to achieve Tiffany Quality diamonds

-   Work safely at all times by consistently following safe work procedures for your position as well as all safety procedures required at your worksite. Promptly report all incidents and safety issues to your manager

Job Requirement


-          Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering  

-          3-5 years’ experience

-          Operational knowledge of Fine mechanic machinery.

-          Ability to maintain equipment preventive and corrective.

-          Ability to interact with multiple staff levels.  Actively listen and encourage open communication.

-          Knowledge of Electric/Instrumentation, SLC / PLC: Allen Bradley, Siemens or other brands

-          Demonstrated experience and working knowledge precision equipment-instrumentation.

-          Experience in Excel.  Ability to work based on structured plans

-          Ability to understand pneumatic and electronic schematics

-          Industry knowledge of gemological laboratory standards such as the GIA, AGS, and HRD.

-          Strong computer Skill (Excel, Power Point, Word, E-mail)

-          Strong English specking and writhing
